Recycling Booth Activities in the City of Arak
In order to promote the culture of source separation and attention to environmental preservation, recycling booths for dry waste in the city of Arak provide services to citizens throughout the day. These booths aim to facilitate the collection of recyclable waste and encourage citizens to participate in environmental preservation, and are located in various areas of the city including the industrial neighborhood, Hafeziyeh Square, Mother Park, Ghadir Park, Elahiyeh neighborhood, Mirzaei Shirazi Boulevard (intersection of Imam Street), Jannat Park, Poneh Park, Alimolhoda Street, and Shahid Shiroudi Boulevard. Citizens can hand over their dry waste to the officials of these booths and receive payment for it. This action, alongside educational and informational programs, is considered an important step towards achieving a clean city and smart waste management.

Municipality of Arak Metropolis on Alert Following Rainfall
According to the report from the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Municipality of Arak Metropolis, with the onset of rain in the city of Arak, all executive personnel of the Municipality of Arak Metropolis have been put on alert. To prevent the blockage of water channels and the accumulation of waste in the paths of runoff, executive teams have quickly been deployed in sensitive and busy areas of the city. Cleaning operations of the canal openings and the collection of scattered waste on the streets have been carried out. Additionally, mobile salt containers at the entrances and high-traffic urban areas prone to freezing are being completed to ensure the safety of citizens' movement is fully secured. Waste collection vehicles are also operating on designated routes and with an intensive schedule to prevent flooding and environmental issues. The Municipality of Arak Metropolis has requested citizens to refrain from leaving garbage bags next to water channels during rainfall and to cooperate in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the city. The main goal of this plan is to maintain the cleanliness of the city, prevent the blockage of water paths, and ensure safe conditions for citizens' passage during rainy days.

Waste Separation Education and No to Plastic at the Colorful World of Children Festival
According to the report of the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, in line with the promotion of the culture of waste separation at the source and institutionalizing environmentally friendly behaviors among future generations, the children's festival 'Colorful World of Children' was held with the active presence of environmental experts. In the special booth of this event, educational and entertaining programs for children were implemented, and the concepts of waste separation, recycling, and the slogan 'No to Plastic' were taught in a simple and child-friendly language. Children participated in painting workshops and educational games, becoming familiar with ways to reduce the use of plastic containers and the importance of preserving the Earth. Additionally, brochures and educational packages on environmental care and waste reduction were distributed among children and families. This initiative aimed to enhance public culture and nurture a more aware generation regarding responsible consumption and maintaining the cleanliness of the city.

Specialized Baiting on the Banks of Arak Rivers to Control the Population of Pests
According to the report of the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolis Municipality, in order to combat the environmental and health crisis caused by the increase in the population of pests, operational teams of the Arak Metropolis Municipality have implemented a new phase of the population control plan in a specialized manner within the urban river boundaries. This precise action has focused on areas that, due to their proximity to water and the accumulation of waste, are considered breeding and activity centers for these animals. The use of special baits designed with the wet conditions of the river environment in mind is the main goal of this operation to prevent the spread of secondary pollution. Controlling the population of these animals in the riverbeds is a priority during this period, as these animals can transfer pollution to other parts of the city through flowing water channels. This organization has also asked citizens to report any waste disposal in the river boundaries to the organization so that control measures can be carried out more effectively in all areas.
