According to the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, Asgari, the manager of District 2 of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, presented a report on the performance of the first six months of the year. Referring to the importance of developing streets, he said: Over the past six months, 19,000 tons of asphalt were distributed and laid in this district with the aim of improving the quality of streets. In this regard, Rezaei stated: With the aim of creating smoother traffic routes for citizens and preventing problems caused by waterlogging during the rainy season, the improvement and renovation operations for the main and secondary streets of District 3 were placed on the agenda with strength and determination, and a significant part of them has reached the implementation stage. He added: In this regard, various measures including asphalt paving, repairing potholes and surface cracks, repairing and rebuilding curbs and surface water drainage channels, as well as cleaning and dredging canals in different parts of the district, have been carried out. The District 3 manager, referring to the importance of these projects in improving citizens' quality of life, said: Street improvement, in addition to facilitating the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, plays an important role in managing surface water and reducing damages caused by seasonal rainfall. Rezaei concluded by noting: District 3 Municipality, with coherent planning and leveraging existing capacities, has also put the implementation of these projects on the agenda in the second half of the year with the aim of fully covering the streets.

In addition, sidewalk paving operations covering an area of 4,200 square meters have been placed on the agenda. It is worth noting that, with the aim of directing surface water and preventing flooding, curb installation work totaling 1,200 meters was carried out in various parts of the district. The manager of District 4 of the municipality announced: efforts have been made to implement projects with high quality and in the shortest possible time, and to provide safe and durable urban routes for citizens.
